Novabus LFS hits New York City


MTA New York has new Novabus Low Floor Series buses, serving the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.

Last Year, the articulated versions were delivered for buses used in Manhattan and the Bronx. Here are some images of those buses as well. The Majority of these buses are used for the Select Bus Service, which is a proof-of-payment service. Riders must get a receipt as proof that they paid their fare to ride these buses. Here are the machines used to get the receipts.
The first one is the coin collector machine seen above. The second one seen below is the FareCard machine. Both dispense receipts.
