This is my Brighton Line track map as the tracks are currently are placed. I would like to tell you that some geographical elements have been modified, therefore this track map is not to scale. Thanks for viewing.


Here is some help in reading this map:
1. The orange lines represent track that is in use.
2. The black line is the track not used now.
3. The orange platforms are platforms that are in use.
4. The gray platforms are platforms that are being repaired
5. The red platforms are temp platforms and or extension. They exist only in Avenue J and Kings Highway.

The Lexington Avenue Line

If you have ridden any of the above subway lines, you know how crowded those train cars can become in a hurry. In Manhattan along the Lexington Avenue/Park Avenue South lines, the crowding is so bad, some people are forced to wait for a train as much as a half hour, just to fit in, never mind the seat, fit in the train. Waiting to board the (4)(5) subway lines at Borough Hall in Brooklyn is like a disaster. Crowds of people wait to board, the R142 and R142A trains come and it's packed.

Passengers have to pack inside trains, just like these!










Those trains may not be crowded in the photos, but if you can imagine the crowds. There is one solution coming, and that is the Second Avenue Subway (T) line. It will run along 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. However it won't help ease the crowding in Brooklyn, well there's the (2)(3)(M)and (R) lines for that. I'm surprised crowding isn't that big of a problem.

My latest bus shots in March

This was my best shot at Orion V CNG 9842 on the B68 at Coney Island Avenue. This bus still had a West Farms Sticker on it, meaning that this bus was recently transfered from that depot in the Bronx. It is now based in Jackie Gleason depot. Sorry for the quality of the images but these are the best ones I have.
