The 3 train

The 3 is the 7th Avenue Express. It runs all day from 148th Street Manhattan to New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn. The 3 is express from 96-Chambers Streets along the 7th Avenue Line. It then branches off that line to go to Brooklyn via Eastern Parkway and to/from New Lots Avenue. Late nights it only runs between Harlem 148 Street- and Times Square 42nd Street.
