The R train is the Broadway Local and it runs from 71 Avenue-Forest Hills, along Queens Boulevard, through the 60 Street connector to the Broadway line in Manhattan and the tunnel to Brooklyn via 4th Avenue to Bay Ridge 95th Street. There is no express section as the route makes all stops.
Late nights, however, it runs only in Brooklyn between 36 Street and 95th Street along the 4th Avenue Segment.
