The 1 train is the 7 Avenue Local making all stops from 242nd Street in the Bronx through 7th Avenue and Broadway in Manhattan to South Ferry in the Lower Manhattan section. It passes directly underneath the World Trade Center site at Cortland Street in Lower Manhattan.
